I'm so excited to have you as a guest on the Summit Host Hangout podcast. This page contains everything you need to get scheduled and set up for recording day.

To start, click here to schedule your interview. If the open days or times don't work for you, please reach out via email with your availability and we'll work something out.

After you've booked and filled out the accompanying form, you're good to go! You'll receive a Zencastr link via email and we'll go from there.

How will this work?

Before recording day, I'll send a list of questions I'd like to cover. These won't be set in stone, depending on where the conversation goes, but they'll give you an idea of what's coming up so you can prepare, if needed.

At your scheduled time, we'll jump on Zencastr. Your confirmation email will contain the link.  (If Zencastr doesn't cooperate, Zoom will be our backup.)

We can either take a few minutes to chat or dive right in, depending on how you're feeling!

Once we start recording, I'll begin with a quick introduction based on your bio and lead you through the episode with questions and conversation topics.

And don't worry, if something happens that you don't want in the final episode, we'll edit it out - no problem!

How long will this take?

Most guest episodes are around 20-30 minutes long, but it totally depends on what kind of groove we get in when we're talking. Plan for at least 45 minutes just in case.

What kind of audio equipment do I need?

Nothing fancy! I use a Blue Yeti mic, but don't require that you do the same. As long as the audio quality is clear and there's no feedback, I'm happy.

If you're using a mic attached to your headphones, make sure your hair won't be brushing against it.

If you'd like to run a quick test, open QuickTime on your computer and record yourself saying a few words. Listen back with the audio turned up a bit more than normal. If your voice sounds clear and you don't hear background noise or feedback, you're good to go!

Please plan to wear headphones during the interview so we don't have an echo.

How should I dress?

However you want! The video won't be used.

Any extra tips?

Have a freebie ready to talk about at the end of the episode to get our listeners on your email list! You're welcome to talk about a paid offer instead, but a freebie will perform the best.

Be sure to have your phone on silent before we start. We can edit out any extra sounds, but I don't want it to throw you off in the middle of an amazing point!
